Bentley's latest addition, the exclusive Batur convertible, joins its remarkable coupe counterpart, with production limited to a mere 16 units worldwide. Sharing the iconic 740-horsepower W-12 engine with the coupe, this convertible marks one of the final models to feature this powerhouse as production of the engine ceases this summer. Each Batur will undergo meticulous handcrafting, tailored to the specifications of individual customers, a process that will span several months.

The allure of the Batur lies in its unparalleled customization, courtesy of Bentley's prestigious Mulliner division. Chosen clients will collaborate closely with the brand to personalize their dream Batur convertible. Every aspect, from color schemes to materials, is fully customizable, with Bentley even offering options for hand-painted graphics and convertible roof materials.

Adding to its exclusivity, the Batur boasts distinctive design elements, such as the "airbridge" behind the seats, reminiscent of vintage Barchetta cars, which also serves as a semi-enclosed luggage compartment. The interior, featuring a divided layout between driver and passenger, exudes luxury and sophistication, with opulent details like 18-karat gold-coated drive-mode dials and climate-control buttons.

Under the hood, the Batur convertible shares the potent twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter W-12 engine with its coupe counterpart, enhanced with a new intake system and upgraded turbochargers for a staggering 740 horsepower and 738 pound-feet of torque. As one of the final models to utilize this legendary engine, the Batur holds a special place in Bentley's lineup.

While pricing details remain undisclosed, anticipation mounts for the unveiling of this ultra-exclusive convertible, with expectations of a base price similar to its coupe sibling. With production already underway and the W-12 engine reaching its twilight, spotting one of these rare beauties on the road will be a stroke of luck reserved for the fortunate few.
